Kim Adam

  Kim Adam is an established Australian dancer, choreographer and dance instructor. She launched her professional career by completing her full time dance tuition at Bartuccios before receiving a scholarship to train at The Edge in Los Angeles.

   Kim’s dance credits include The Footy Show Players Review, various Disney shows and corporate work at Crown Casino Palms and Palladium Rooms as well as choreography for Golf Air Airlines, Wog Boy 2 The Movie and Bad Eggs. Kim is cofounder of Collaboration The Project and her work is highly acclaimed throughout the country. Kim’s most recent performance and choreography credits include Inhale, Beat and Move, Down the Rabbit Hole, Climax and Stratagem as well as her very own works 4 Letters and Fire & Ice.

Caitlyn Burt

      Caitlyn is the Director of theatre company ‘Performing Miracles’, and as a singer, dancer, actor and playwright, is a ‘quadruple threat’ in the Performing Arts industry.

 This year, she has been living in London, working on her new musical, 'Sophie', while training at Pineapple Dance Studio and the Actor's Centre. 

 Having studied Psychology and teaching, Caitlyn attempts to bring positive psychology into the classes that she leads, valuing the importance of mental health and uplifting environments within the performing arts industry. Having had experience in many facets of the industry, she loves performing on stage the most, and has most recently toured with the tribute show 'At the Hop'.
   
Caitlyn is so excited to be returning to the Industry Intensive this year. 

Lucy Ellis

       
   Lucy has performed with the Victorian Opera, the State Opera of South Australia and Sydney Theatre Company, as well as dancing at the T20 Big Bash Cricket, the 'Countdown Spectacular' and'Australia's Got Talent'. Lucy's choreographic credits include Salvation Army's 'Our Christmas Gift' concert, Ding Productions Corporate Entertainment, the Queensland Hornets Grand Final Entertainment, the Ultimate Dance Cause, as well as many other events and competitions.
  

Dana Jolly


  Dana’s career began at the age of 9, when she played Gypsy Rose Lee as a child in the musical ”Gypsy” at ‘Her Majesty’s Theatre’ Melbourne.  Dana then went on to train at the Victorian College of Arts, where she received a number of Scholarships. She danced with the Victorian State Opera and the Australian Contemporary Dance Company before moving to London.

  Dana then choreographed in the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and Japan, including “Andrew Lloyd Webber’s, “Song and Dance” UK tour, British Music Awards, Winter Olympics Norway and many more. She has worked with such artists as Madonna, Gloria Estefan, Cliff Richards, The Kinks, Prince, Ewan Mc Greggor, Michael Ball and Michael Crawford to name a few.

  Back in Australia, Dana has choreographed a number of television commercials for the channel 9 network including The Footy Show and Bert’s Family Feud. Some of her musical credits have included choreographing “Showboat” (Green Room Award Nom), “We Will Rock You”, “The Producers”, the Australian Musical premiere of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”,“Anything Goes”, “Kiss Me Kate”, “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, “Little Me”, “Follies”, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”, “Grey Gardens” and many more.

Etienne Khoo

        One of the chosen choreographers for Australia’s, So You think You Can Dance, and performing in TV shows and at high profile events, Etienne has toured Australasia (including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia etc.) conducting and teaching numerous workshops, events and shows.

  Etienne is well known for his work as the artistic director of DVP (Dance Virus Productions). In addition to winning 2 years back-to-back Australian Hip Hop Championship, DVP represented Australia in San Diego in 2009, coming 5th place in the world.
   

Kevin Nguyen

     Kevin Nguyen is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and conductor. Graduating from Monash University with a Bachelor of Music, Kevin has been involved in countless productions across Melbourne as a musical director, conductor, vocal couch, and accompanist. He was awarded a Music Theatre Guild of Victoria nomination for Best Musical Director for his work on RENT. He currently teaches music at Kilvington Grammar School where he also serves as their chief accompanist, and musical director for their senior school productions.   

Michael Ralph

      
  Michael Ralph is one of Australia’s rising young choreographers who is sought after for his dynamic, unique style and fresh take on Musical Theatre story telling.

 Michael’s choreographic credits include,

Musical Theatre: DUSTY (Melbourne/Adelaide), Georgy Girl Australian Tour (Green Room Nominee), Spring Awakening (VCA), Bring it On (WAAPA), CrossXRoads, Company, West Side Story (Jerome Robbins restaging), NED – A New Australian Musical, Avenue Q, Loving Repeating (Green Room Award), Our House (Workshop), Georgy Girl (Workshop), Pacific Overtures (Green Room Nominee), My Fair Lady, and concert versions of Pippin, Milk and Honey, Flinders Street, and Happy People.

Television: So You Think You Can Dance? (Channel Ten).
Cabaret: The Petticoat Soiree, Yummy and Triage (The Butterfly Club).

Dance: Mood Swing (People’s Choice award 2011) and Project Elvis (Best Choreographer 2012) for Short & Sweet Dance. His two self-devised dance shows Now & Then (2013) and Hollywood Honky Tonk (2014) both played sell out seasons at Melbourne’s Gasworks Theatre and received positive reviews.
His performing stage credits include roles in Cats (RUG), Fame The Musical (GFO), and the world premiere production of Moonshadow (Yusuf Islam / Cat Stevens). Also Singin in the Rain and Pirates of Penzance (The Production Company).

    

Eden Read

  Eden has enjoyed a diverse performing and creative career spanning many styles and disciplines. He has appeared in Musicals including Grease the Arena Spectacular, Hello Dolly!, Sunset Boulevard and The Irish... and How They Got That Way, and toured internationally with Irish Tap show Spirit of the Dance. Eden worked as an Assistant Director for OZ OPERAS Cinderella, and was also Re-Staging Choreographer for their regional tour of Carmen. He was Choreographic Assistant for the 2006 COMMONWEALTH GAMES Closing Ceremony, Re-Staging Choreographer for the Korean tour of Eurobeat, and has choreographed episodes of Neighbours and the short musical film A4 to A3.

Victoria Rimington

      Victoria studied dance full time at Dance World Studios. After Graduating she was cast in Disney’s award winning musical ‘Mary Poppins.’ 

  Most recently Victoria was a guest artist in the sold out season of ‘Strictly Gershwin’ with the Queensland ballet company.  Before then she performed in The Production Company’s ‘Westside Story’ and their Australian premiere of ‘Nice work if you can get it.’

  In 2014 she performed in Giving Productions, ‘Hollywood Honky Tonk’ as a soloist dancer, she received standout reviews.  She then performed in Disney’s ‘Rockin’ the House with Mikey Mouse’ at the Royal Melbourne show. 

  Victoria was part of ‘Nine the musical in concert’ for Manilla street productions which raised money for the Think pink charity. She has also studied film and TV and has appeared in several TV Commercials.

Lauren Skopal

   Lauren is a flexibility specialist and associate nutritionist at Limber Sports Performance, who has a Bachelor of Health Science and an Honours degree researching the benefits of gymnastics based flexibility and power training for dancers at Deakin University. She competed in Rhythmic Gymnastics for 12 years, medalling at state and national level on many occasions.   

  Lauren has conducted workshops for the Victorian State Aerobics Squad and Ice Skating Victoria and she currently teaches private tuition at the National Institute of Circus Arts.
For the last few years Lauren’s focus has been assisting other athletes and performers to improve their flexibility, strength and power through gymnastics based cross-training.  Still heavily involved in training herself Lauren undertakes a mix of dance, circus and pilates training each week and performs in cabaret shows around Melbourne and internationally. She 

​  Lauren looks forward to continuing to share her training techniques with other athletes and performers so that they too can reap the benefits.

Ranjeet Starr

      Born and raised in country Western Australia, Ranjeet moved to Melbourne to study classical ballet, voice and musical theatre. He has performed internationally in numerous tours of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS, playing the roles of Munkustrap and the Rum Tum Tugger. This included stops in South Korea, China, Macau, Thailand, Taiwan, and the CATS – World Tour to Athens. Back home he has played roles in Annie Get Your Gun with Marina Prior, Camelot, The Boy From Oz with Hugh Jackman, The Pajama Game and Fiddler on the Roof starring Topol. He has also performed in numerous concerts, cabarets and bands across the country.
  Ranjeet is also a sought after voice over artist who regularly voices radio and TV spots, audiobooks, animation, corporate videos and is the male voice of the free GPS smartphone app Whereis. He has appeared on Neighbours and in TV commercials for Jetstar and WorkSafe Victoria. Ranjeet spends his spare time volunteering in family support at the Royal Children’s Hospital, mentoring at-risk youth with Whitelion and tending to his small balcony garden.

Derek Taylor

        Derek is a performing veteran who has worked extensively in opera, theatre, television and in creative teams. Derek began working professionally in 1987 with the State Opera of South Australia, then Opera Queensland before transitioning to musical theatre playing Monsieur Reyer in the original Australian cast of The Phantom of the Opera.He has since played roles throughout Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and the West End in shows such as Grease, The Secret Garden, Sweeney Todd, Cats and Chicago. As well as performing in shows, Derek has been on numerous production teams both Directing and Choreographing, most recently he was seen as the Rabbi in Fiddler on the Roof, and has directed ‘The Pied Piper’ for Victorian Opera.
   

Jesse Velik

     Jesse is an actor of the stage and screen, working across both the UK and Australia. He is a graduate from one of the UK’s leading Drama Schools, Rose Bruford College. In the UK, Jesse acted for Paines Plough (England’s leading New Writing Theatre Company), as well as performed at London Theatres including The Unicorn Theatre, Soho Theatre, New Wimbledon Theatre, and as part of the Brighton Fringe Festival.
 Since being back in Australia, some of his work includes ‘Pornography’ by Simon Stephens at the Malthouse Theatre, feature film, ‘Pawno’ (MIFF 2015), and the ‘The Doctor Blake Mysteries’ on the ABC.
